I have lived in Rushmere St.Andrew for the last seven years or so, used to live in south Herts....Suffolk is much better!

I'm in Glasgow, Scotland. My mum was born in Suffolk (Leiston), grandparents were from Ipswich, and further back, from further afield - Worlingworth, Marlesford, Clopton etc. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and the site, and seeing photos of the places my ancestors came from, but which I haven't (yet) visited myself. Good luck!

Janet, welcome to the forumsmile

This site has only been up and running for 6 weeks and we have had over 12000 hits so when the Major search Engines include the site on the web I expect a lot more visitors, but someone somewhere is doing a grand job on my behalf in doing this already, whoever you are many thanks!aww

I grew up in Surrey and have also lived in Co Tipperary, Devon and Cumbria before moving to Suffolk just over 10 years ago. I spent my first two years in Suffolk in Cretingham and then moved a mile and a half down the road to Framsden, where I intend spending the rest of my life! Suffolk - there's nowhere better in my opinion.

My husband was born and bred in Woodbridge, then spent about 12 years in Parham followed by another 10 or so years in Dennington before coming to Framsden. I can't imagine that he would ever consider leaving Suffolk!
