It was a bit of a fluke to be honest.

Sitting at the computer one day, I heard a loud 'thud' against the patio window at the back of the house.
Went out to investigate and was just in time to reach this little chap before the cat did!
It was obviously stunned but appeared otherwise uninjured, so I kept an eye on it for a while, making sure said cat (which was lurking with intent) was kept away.
Couldn't resist grabbing the camera for a few opportunistic close-up shots while it sat there recovering.
Happily, after about 15 minutes 'recovery time' it perked up and flew off!
