The SCHP runs inland from here and comes out on to the beach North of Benacre Broad, to get on to the beach at the end of Southwold Promenade/Wall might necessitate climbing over boulders which is not recommended and the state of the tide might also prevent you from doing so.
I had walked the 7 miles from Kessingland on a receding tide to Southwold [and took the bus back] as always be ever mindful of unstable cliffs and high tides
Peter Boggis is likely to lose his bungalow on the clifftop in the next few years if something isn't done regarding coastal erosion
I can't tell you what these pipes were for here, perhaps they were used for something nearer to Southwold, maybe a sluice system at Buss Creek, does anyone know?
