I took this video

Moving Containers in the Port of Felixstowe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu34eW3dl1I&feature=c4-overview&list=UUEPmGUcgjoUWxyWdegxwRmQ

this lunchtime in a quite foggy/misty Port of Felixstowe environment which is always very busy if not, at times, a dangerous place to work, so you have to keep your wits about you, so the next time you go into a store and see that something has been imported into the UK, there is a 46% chance it arrived by the Port of Felixstowe, you will note the Fork Lift Driver communicates with the truck by air horn

'Twist Locks' on the containers are unlocked some time before these are lifted off the trailers http://www.conpargroup.co.uk/twist-locks.html the containers being loaded/offloaded [eg on the Freightliner Train Gantry] and are moved on the port do not use twist locks for this operation, we did hear one mighty crash today suggesting that a box had fallen from a stack

Note that the work is being carried out on one of the Helipads
