Brandon Country Park


A lovely spot, a garden of trees most identified by plates/numbers on a brochure which is obtainable from the Visitors Centre, it is within walking distance from The Flintknappers Pub end of Brandon itself.

There are miles of walks, a lake or just sit and relax in the walled garden

I paid another visit here two days ago to see what the area looked like in the late Winter, a lot of the trees are coniferous so there wasn't much change in some respects to the summer months but it was a lovely 'springlike' day
