Thorpeness Post Mill can still be seen working in the summer months and an internal inspection is permissible on open days http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorpeness_Windmill

Although this mill is technically in Dedham, Essex we are looking at it from the Suffolk side of the River Stour, a footbridge or an alternative roadbridge spans the river to enjoy the views either side

Drinkstone has two Windmills, a Post and a Smock, the former has been in existence since 1689 making it Suffolk's oldest mill, it was also used in an episode of Dad's Army The Post Mill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drinkstone_windmills
