A Saxon burial urn was discovered in the church grounds in 1841 and is now to be found in The British Museum
Further Saxon, Roman and Iron Age finds have been discovered including chariot harness Terret ring moulds
Once 4 bells hung in the church but three were sold for gunmetal in the Napoleonic Wars
A nicely cut 16c font within the church
Coprolite was mined from the village called The Glebe

My first visit to the church was on the 29th May 1999
