In the Museum of East Anglian Life at Stowmarket is a Tithe Barn that dates back to the 14c, possibly the oldest of its type in the County of Suffolk. Apart from some additional supporting struts and the tiled roof which replaced the thatched roof, the barn is pretty much still 14c
