RE: Buildings

Bridge Street Bungay

I like this shot as it is almost devoid of all traffic, infact take away the white lines, the nose of the vehicle, convert it to B&W and we could be going back 3 centuries

You know we must be the envy of every county in that we have Lavenham situated here in Suffolk, almost every buiding within 200 yards of The Guildhall has some historical interest.

Look at the carpentry that goes in to making the upper storey, every square foot of space on the ground floor is utilised by increasing the upper floor by building an overhang making the upper floor larger than the ground floor.

Look at the cross members to give added strength and support to the building

This is the junction of Lady Street and Water Lane in Lavenham the whole block has something like 75% medieval buildings which stretches right up to the Guildhall and squares off at The Swan Hotel, I still prefer the limewashed timbers as the originals were but the black timbers make for very good photogenic work
