The Norman Gatehouse at Bury St Edmunds this was the grand entrance to the Abbey, the Norman arches are quite magnificent, I have been to the top of this tower and the views of BSE and the surrounding countryside to the East are one of the best views in Suffolk, I must do this again on Towers & Tunnels Day especially since the new Cathedral Tower has been erected
