Built in 1935 The Royal Hospital School moved up from Greenwich to cater for the Royal Navy Personnel children when they were called away for duty

The Cliff Top House was visited by The Empress of Germany in 1890 along with her entourage, this visit made FXT become a very fashionable seaside resort in Victorian Days
