A few yards away the sea has undermined the sea defences for the fourth time in 10 years, prior to this there was never any problem

When these Norwegian rocks were being put in place there was very little beach here, but the channel was beginning to silt up, it was a talking point to those who regularly walked the sea wall, no one told the Environment Agency, in fact whilst the remedial work was ongoing the lagoon formed
