Thankfully I have better pictures of Greenwich Hospital [Wren] than this one I took yesterday, spoilt not by the weather but by the hideous plastic sheeting of some exhibition, I don't think Canaletto would have approved, sure don't know what Olympic or other visitors to the country think

HMS Belfast in the Pool of London, weighing in at 11200 tons she was built in 1938/39 and saw action in WWII, the bridge beyond is London Bridge

HMS Ocean is an amphibious assault ship and is currently the RN's largest vessel [at July 2012] she has on the platform 7 Super Lynx 'copters, a mix of RN and AAC, she is currently moored up at Greenwich [this pic taken yesterday and more to follow] in readiness for protection of The Olympic Games which commences on 27th July
