I love the reflection that the left frontispiece of Greenwich Hospital is showing, if you haven't been to the museum and Palace you should visit if in the area, the Turner masterpieces, the unsupported Queen Anne staircase in the Palace and the Nelson museum are not to be missed and of course that wonderful observatory on the hill where East meets West on the meridian line
The Greenwich walkway tunnel is a wonderful feat of engineering under the Thames, this literally takes you to the park entrance with good views of Canary Wharf and when you get to Island Gardens there are some splendid views looking over to Greenwich

The Docklands Light Railway with its automatic [driverless] trains will take you to the new Olympic Park at Stratford
When I saw havengore in The Thames pageant six weeks ago with so many Royals on board which included The Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, I had heard the name before
