Beyond the crane arms and in the centre of the photo looking like a matchstick is the RADAR tower on LNG, Suffolk's most southerly point, the expanse of water beyon is the mouth of the Stour Estuary with the North Sea beyond that and to the right on the horizon can be made out the folly on Walton on the Naze

Under the crane arm is the cab where the operator is about to lift a box off with his 'Bromma' frame beyond is the longest continuous container terminal in the UK, TTY Terminal, capable of receiving and turning around the worlds largest container vessels
