There are many escapees and other species of birds that have found their way into Suffolk, a pair of these Muscovy Ducks was readily in the wild on the banks of the River Brett at Hadleigh
The Egyptian Goose an introduced species to Britain and Suffolk dating back to the 18th century, though only formally added to the British list in 1971. In Britain, it is found mainly in East Anglia, in parkland with lakes. It was officially declared a pest in the UK in 2009, I first saw these at Wroxham Broad in Norfolk many years ago and these do seem prevalent in East Anglia and in recent years turn up at all inland water parks in Suffolk
