I have visited and supported The Lowestoft Air Festival over the years, it is extremely popular if sometimes a wet event!! But the displays are fabulous, the continuity excellent and its all for freesmile.gif

The Bascule Bridge which can cause so much traffic/pedestrian chaos when inoperative or when vessels need to pass through as this is the only crossing over Lake Lothing for two miles where the Oulton Broad bridge is situated.

I cannot imagine that Londoners would put up with this situation in their capital city.............



Before leaving The South Beach area of Lowestoft one last look from The South Pier [not a traditional wooden pier but a concrete structure forming part of the harbour wall]
