We in Suffolk have some wonderful medieval buildings but the Moot Hall in Aldeburgh must rate in the top 10 in my book. The brick nogging cannot be bettered
On the landside of The Scallop can be found the RSPB Reserve of North Warren there are delightful walks along the old railway line and/or around the marshes and woodlands that can take you to Thorpeness in the parish of Aldringham
From Aldeburgh Beach at The Scallop, Sizewell B Nuclear Reactor Station can be easily seen although this picture is greatly zoomed/cropped

Just off the beach is a 'wonderland' of boating activity, rowing boats, canoes and punts together with islands, one of my favourite places on the coast on a Summer's evening when the crowds have gone home!
