A moth-eaten rag on a worm-eaten pole. It does not look to stir a mans soul. 'Tis the deeds that were done 'neath the moth-eaten rag, When the pole was a staff and the rag was a flag.

I came across this 'Beach Flag' at Kessingland last week, I wondered why only three flags had been awarded to Coastal Towns in Suffolk [Lowestoft, K'land and Southwold] and it was reported one had to pay £5000 to enter so what is the point in that?? Blue Flag at kessingland [000996].jpg
