As this is such a major Port of Britain and Europe I thought it might be a good idea to have a separate subject on the Port of Felixstowe. It is Britains largest Container Port, it is also Europes 4th largest. I once worked here [12 years] and it goes without saying that for everyone in the UK you would have purchased something that passed through Felixstowe.

This was also the first purpose built container port in Britain, Landguard  [LNG] being the first Terminal. LNG is currently being realigned and when completed will [like the rest of FXT] be able to handle the largest ships in the world at any state of the tide.
