At FXT Port yesterday it was very squally, I was on the viewpoint when a smaller vessel was brought into Landguard Quay [the terminal is being redeveloped to take the worlds largest container ships] OPDR Lisboa it was great to see the skill of the pilot and tug in guiding this vessel in so close to shore
Rick Vince, someone I know, was standing on the mv Hanjin Athens when she arrived in Felixstowe on her maiden voyage from the Far East on Monday, the lighting conditions were poor, Rick passes this information on and I thank him for reproducing his photos here, I saw here at the far end of Trinity quay yesterday but my photo from three miles away is rubbish in comparison to Rick's
