Again taken from inside a Pilot Launch recently this is the KS Titan 2 that is situated in Harwich it is a huge structure, although registered in Singapore it has been in the Gulf of Mexico, it is here to travel to the Greater Gabbard Wind Turbine farm where it transports the main column and turbine blades to the 'sands' in the North Sea where they are being erected.

These will generate the power from the wind and the electricity will be sent via undersea cabling to the National Grid at Sizewell, Titan can elevate its platform to the top of its legs and also has a helicopter platform

Apologies for the quality of the pics that is the way it was on that day, strapped in in rough conditions and literally just pointing the camera in a reverse direction and hoping for the best

mv Polar Prince from Bergen in Harwich, this vessel is being contracted to lay cabling from Greater Gabbard Wind Farm to Sizewell National Grid, as can be seen from the camera angle the sea was pretty choppy

A 38 knot wind can make a boat trip one to remember!
