Tied up in the Navyard is the RNLI Lifeboat, an HHA Survey Vessel, a fishing vessel and the large red one beyond is the Polar Prince from Bergen, this is an offshore vessel that can lay cabling under the sea bed, in his instance she is here to work the Greater Gabbard wind farm to Sizewell Power Station contracted up to at least the New Year

Two from Trinity House harwich a week ago, these are buoy laying vessels for deep sea channels, they also undertake wreck markings and survey work the THV Galatea and Alert

The Trinity House Vessels can be traced back to the days of Henry VIII

Four Windcat survey vessels, moored due to inclement weather last Thursday, these have a catamaran hull and potter out to sea until out of the speed limit then they open up the taps and watch them go!

These are surveying the seabed for The Greater Gabbard Wind Farm to be built which will house 130 giant wind turbines
