On the Farm


On Saturday I inadvertently started a stamped of cattle!! Walking on the bund alongside the creek there was a field with about 30 highland cattle and one Belted Galloway [Saddleback] cow, wanting a better view of this, as I hadn't seen one since Coniston Water area some two years back, I went for a closer look, Jeez one took 'flight' along with the rest of them. My wife said perhaps they thought you were the Vet!!

The Galloway definitely had a calf but it was of the Highland variety, apparently in NSW OZ the Galloway is quite common do you guys in the antipodes see these
