Mary Tudor was King Henry Viii's sister she married Charles Brandon the Duke of Suffolk, she died at Westhorpe Hall on June 25th 1533, she is today laid to rest in St Mary's Church Bury St Edmunds

George Orwell [1984, Animal Farm] grew up in Southwold as a child and Rowan Atkinson [comedian of Black Adder fame] has a second home here too

I visited Boulge Church on Sunday, this is where Edward Fitzgerald, who translated The Rubiyat of Omar Khayyam into English, is buried, not in the family mausoleum but in an adjacent grave.

Visitors from around the world visit this remote Church, more pictures on the Boulge page in the next few days/weeks
