I'm not the sort of person that dismisses a project just because it is fashionable to do so but having put up yesterday several photos of Cardinal Wolsey's statue in Ipswich which I find pleasing and would think that in 50 years time this statue will still be admired but this one unveiled 6 months after Wolsey's outside the University Campus of Suffolk [UCS] on Ipswich Waterfront is hard for me to take in.
A 'Question Mark' indeed and £200000 to boot, I consider this very much in the same vein as some of the exhibitions that I sometimes see within the UCS, what is it all about 'questioning a seat of learning', I cannot say it is an eyesore because I do not think it is but I do think that something a little more aesthetically pleasing could and should have been considered
