On the River Orwell today at Levington, I was looking at the birdlife on a nearby trout lake, but I heard the crack of a sail in the high wind, I turned round and in midstream saw this ketch, I didn't know what it was and what significance this yacht had in history until I saw the same yacht on the BBC News tonight, it was the yacht that [Sir] Francis Chichester sailed single handedly around the world, the last time I saw her was at the Millennium at Greenwich, being exhibited next to the Cutty Sark.
Gipsy Moth IV is at Levington Marina until June 17th
