I'm not quite sure if this photo is in the right place, I do believe that the area immediately South of the River Deben [by Wilford Bridge] lies in the parish of Bromeswell. Here there is a well managed reedbed with a boardwalk, so listen out for Cetti's Warblers and Reed Buntings. The former not often seen.
There is a lovely nature reserve which borders up to The Cherry Tree pub, if you happen to pass by here in Spring the daffodil show is well worth seeing. Here too the wood is managed by pollarding willows.
The Boardwalk
The Church has a good Hammerbeam Roof with many carved wooden angels each bearing a different shield
The Suffolk Wildlife Trust has a nice [small] reserve at Bromeswell Green, I visited here again yesterday the bird song late morning was wonderful only [later] drowned out by the chatter of an Apache Helicopter practicing descents at nearby Woodbridge Airfield
I don't know the age of this building but with thatch I would hazard a guess that it was something to do with a River Toll on the Deben at Bromeswell Suffolk
