The Royal Navy


Whilst at Felixstowe today I spotted this minesweeper 'HMS' Penzance appearing to be motionless and about 5 - 7 miles offshore, I have just checked again on the Harwich shipping register and she is still out there doing 2.2 knots Gaddafi's bullion ship the Slomon [whatever] was not in the Navyyard at Harwich today, she was seized by a customs cutter a few days ago with $100 million in hard cash aboard

I was at Ganges fron 10th June 1958 for one year, enjoyed every minute of it especially going to the button on top of the mast.biggrin
