Wangford (Nr Brandon)

Anyone with a connection to the village?

Wangford Church (Nr Lakenheath RAF/USAF base), not a good photo as it was pouring with rain at the time, but this shows how isolated the church is. Great viewpoint close by to see USAF jet fighters on operational exercise

Just to the left of the church can be found the viewing area for RAF Lakenheath Air Base in fact this photo was taken through the fence of an USAF F15 just completing a mission I'm not sure if there is a village as such but there are a few scattered houses in the Parish, perhaps someone can put my right here. Sadly just down the lane beyond the Church was where the bodies of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells was found after they disappeared from their home in Soham...........
