The memorial tablet to David Elisha Davy at St Peter Yoxford is a name that stands out in all my church visits that I have made in these past 15 years, as this gentlemen in the early part of the 19c, recorded his visits and sketches of all those churches he visited in the County of Suffolk. He was also a noted botanist

Yoxford St Peter is also noted for the many memorials to the Blois family who once resided at nearby C0ckfield Hall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blois_family, they own land around Blythburgh Church including some of the marshes
