Anyone with a connection to the village?

No suitable photo available at the moment

Hemley is so quiet that the road leading to the church and village has grass growing in the centre of the tarmac and long may it continue, I walked up the hill from Newbourne village .

All Saints Church has a Tudor Tower similar to nearby Waldringfield, within, there is a rerodos [an ornamental screen behind an altar] which was salvaged from a shell torn Belgian church during the Great War

There is a walk to nearby Kirton Creek along part of the Mill River, the source being near to Foxhall Speedway Stadium, this disgorges itself into The River Deben, there are a host of saltmarsh plants along here during the spring and summer an the walk returns to the church

The Church of All Saints has been remodelled in Victorian Fashion, but the Tower is Elizabethan with a blue brick pattern, there are a few such towers in this immediate area
