Malton has a wonderful Riverside walk on the Deben either to attractive Ufford (can be marshy at times) or to Woodbridge, no matter what the state of the tide there is an abundance of birds here both at the pond and from the seawall and the lakes.

The pub by the bridge is popular and is the nearest pub to The Ancient Burial Chamber at Sutton Hoo
