Hoxne


Pronounced Hoxun, this is a lovely village that I haven't visited for a few years. The houses are very picturesque. This is the place of course where St Edmund the Boy King of Anglia was murdered, there is a monument in a field depicting the spot where he was slain.

That is brilliant Richard! The field on the right is that where the monument is where St Edmund was [allegedly] slain? I must get up there again one day it is yonks since my last visit.....
