Crauford shut up shop at the Bell for the last time on Sun Oct 19th 2008.

To the man who single-handedly invented all-day drinking long before any Government initiatives made such things par for the course, "We Salute You" - and thanks for innumerable laughs we've shared over the years.

Enjoy a long retirement chap!

In 1737 Reginald Rabett of Bramfield was appointed High Sheriff of suffolk
