I came across this 'Beach Flag' at Kessingland last week, I wondered why only three flags had been awarded to Coastal Towns in Suffolk [Lowestoft, K'land and Southwold] and it was reported one had to pay £5000 to enter so what is the point in that??

I took this picture two weeks ago off Kessingland, forget the oil tanker in the background I used this as a scale against the 'pleasure cruiser' in the foreground, bearing in mind this is the North Sea and the craft is some two miles + out what is it? Are these the cruisers that travel the Rhein or Seine...........
