Having spent my childhood in Crowfield, I can remember that the carved pews, the lectern and the stained glass in this church, really call for a look inside.
I often went with an elderly neighbour, when she trimmed the grass on her husband's grave. We would take a picnic and sit in the graveyard, amongst the wild flowers, while we ate.

The flowers can be seen in the picture perhaps it needs brightening up a bit, All Saints is the only church in Suffolk that has a timber framed chancel, a lovely setting of course some way out of the village.

I called on the Church on Friday but it was locked, sad!
