The fire on 'the Heath' was near to The Oaks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prince Alexander Obolensky was born a Russian but escaped the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, he is famous for scoring what is considered the best ever English Rugby Try on his debut for England. The Prince died in a Hawker Hurricane crash at RAF Martlesham Heath, more details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Obolensky
