Pakefield


Pakefield houses many caravan sites and holiday camps. If rising sea levels are a threat to the UK this is one such place that will suffer, much cliff erosion occurs during high tides and gales. Nice beach to walk along beware of those incoming tides though, there are some old WWII fortifications precariously perched on the cliff tops when I last visited in April '07...

I suppose everyone entering the Lowestoft area from the south of the town at Pakefield nust have passed the water tower
