Again on the St Mary le Tower Church there is a beautiful Altar Screen of the Twelve Apostles

In St Margaret's Church just inside the main door on your right as you enter is this c1300 Coffin lid!

If any reader is interested in church ceilings/timbered roofs then St Margarets in Ipswich must have one of the best examples in Suffolk, the Double Hammerbeam roof of the 15c has some wonderful carvings within the woodwork, pierced shields with tie rods and a 17c painted ceiling, all wonderful stuff

I'm not sure whether the Eagle Lectern in St Margaret's Ipswich is old or new but I do know it is a beautiful cut example
