Jim, welcome to the forum smile.gif I do not activate accounts it is an automated transaction, there is sometimes a delay between registering and posting but thankfully that doesn't happen very often

The camera I currently use is a Nikon D40X [now supseded by the D60] I have two lenses a Nikon 18-55mm and a Sigma 55-200mm, the only snag with the wide angle is that trying to cram something in to the viewfinder because of infill, can sometimes make the subject 'lean in'

My previous cameras over the years have been as above but 35mm film, I can't ever imagine going back to that now, a Digi Fuji Finepix, an Agfa Ambi Flexilette Twin Reflex 35mm [which I sold for more than I paid for it in Gibraltar in 1960] and going back beyond that an Agfa Ambi Silette and of course as a kid a Brownie 127

Thanks Jeff, coincidentally today we took a circular walk around Martlesham Creek, through the Bluebell Woods along the bund of the River Deben, peace personified, punctuated by Gulls and Reed Warblers with plenty of bleats from two month old lambs and all we met were two other people in two hours! smile.gif
