It can't always be said that the Victorians constructed good looking buildings, well they made an exception in the building of Ipswich School, some of the brickwork looks positively Elizabethan
This building in Ipswich intrigues me, I looked at the chimneys and the design which looks very Elizabethan, it is located in Park Road next to the gates of the Christchurch Park entrance. Someone informed me over the weekend that it was the residence of The Bishop of Ipswich and was known as The Bishops House. I can find no reference to it, we know of course the history of Pykenham House but can anyone help with this one
