At Redgrave/Lopham Fen a couple of days ago were these Tarpan type horses from Poland called Koniks, they are a very hardy species and rarely get ill, the reason they are here is that they keep the Sedge in some sort of control, they certainly have a few hectares to munch through



...and this one shaking its head at me



There were several foals here, but these were somewhat scattered, these breed of horse can also be found on The Minsmere Level, usually the footpath from Eastbridge to Minsmere Sluice
