The Olympic Flame/Torch in Suffolk

The whole Olympic Torch relay being conducted from what I witnessed, was well organised with thousands of 'runners' witnessed by 100000's lining the streets, I do think that the costs involved might be quite horrendous but as this is the second time the London Olympics in my lifetime I was pleased to have witnessed this relay in my county

The Suffolk, Norfolk and Metropolitan Police Forces were magnificent in what I again witnessed, the Met appeared to be in overall control

On the 5th/6th July 2012 the Olympic Flame/Torches passed through Suffolk starting at Corton, through Lowestoft [Mark Murphy covered this on BBC radio Suffolk], Wrentham, Reydon, Southwold, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Wickham Market, Ufford, Melton, Woodbridge, Felixstowe & Ipswich

Claire Marritt from Norwich ran the Woodbridge section from Melton Hill, I stood opposite Melton Council Offices, this is Claire
