The Ring of Brogar, Clouston is a remarkable ancient ring of stones, in 2004 I was fortunate enough to visit here in 2004

HMS Royal Oak met her end at Scapa Flow, here is the bell from the ship which can be seen in St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, 833 lives were lost that night including some boys aged 15-17 see here how the U-47 raid was carried out
