I haven't seen any Brent Geese for a long time, then yesterday at Loompit Lake, Levington having just got out of the car there was this terrific honking noise of hundreds of geese, these are the dark bellied variety, they stayed around for about half an hour before flying south

Took another trip to Loompit Lake today, plenty of interest including a gaggle of Greylags, fortunately a bush was my shelter until exposed and they took flight
