A week ago I came across this unusual hobby on Kessingland Cliffs, I had never seen a powered paraglider/parachute before, I was intrigued and went closer to get a few photographs. I was amazed at the adept attitude of the 'pilot' he checked his 'chute and cords, tried it all out without the engine.

He then strapped the machine to his back, hooked up the canopy, started the engine, pointed himself into the wind and off he lifted, I watched him disappear beyond Lowestoft and some 30 minutes later watched him come back into land after skimming the beach and the sea
