Monk Soham and maternal Grandmother's roots

I just wanted to say hello. I found the site looking for more info about Monk Soham. In 1871 my grandmother's great grand parents were living in the Alms Houses in Monk Soham. Their names were Samuel Smith and Phoebe (possibly Noble). I currently live in Newcastle upon Tyne  but was born in London. Their daughter Harriet married William List born in Cretingham, Suffolk.

I thought this link could be useful to this site. It's the parish Register of Monk Soham from the early 1700's to well into the 20th century. I don't know if anyone here has anymore info about Monk Soham.  I didn't realise that Suffolk was such an interesting place. http://www.archive.org/details/registersofparis00monkrich
