On Good Friday we travelled to Minsmere to the RSPB sanctuary. What a lovely place to be. The weather was mild and sunny, the tracks easy to walk and birds aplenty. We are not twitchers but do love birds especially the waders. We sat in the hides and watched the birds in the water, dipping and diving. A grey-lag goose appeared to be looking at us as if to say "Who do you think you are looking at?"
Bird watchers are such lovely people to be around. All quietly looking and walking around and not a mobile phone in sight. We stayed for 4 hrs before making our way home through the lovely village of Westleton and onwards. If you yearn for a day of peace and tranquility, this is the place to be. BFN Val
