Drinkstone has two windmills a postmill and a smockmill, the former was erected in 1689 making it the oldest in Suffolk.............

It is said that Haughley Post Office is the oldest in the County of Suffolk and possibly in England, subject to Post Office cuts of course..........

The Worlds oldest Suffolk Punch Horse 'Remus' died in 2007 aged 27 and did you know that The Punch can be traced back to 1506

In Groton Churchyard can be found the oldest recorded gravestone in Suffolk, a white marble altar tomb dated 1598 in memory of one Lewis Kedbye
